Design & Style Fantastic but Materials Not As Quality As Expected

The style and design of the jewelry I bought was excellent, innovative, and futurustic. However, I wish it was made out of steel or sterling silver as I didn't expect trarnished, painted plastic that I am concerned about wearing in AZ and NV summer heat. Worried that all of the silver will rub off of the plastic if I break a swaet in any way.
